Beginning March 18th, visitors to the Imaginarium will be able to experience a range of sports and test their skills in the new Sporty Science Arena. This new exhibit brings hands-on and interactive to a whole new level! Now, kids of all ages will be able to step into the Sporty Science Arena and experience five sports via the virtual world. With each selected game, guests will be able to experience that sport and have immediate feedback on their performances.
Guests shooting basketballs will choose from a variety of courts and see how many baskets they sunk or missed! Baseball players pitch to an assortment of batters and find out how fast their pitches were and how many strikeouts they captured!
Hockey players will be able to test their shots against goal tenders and real size nets and determine their speed, accuracy and reflex time. In Soccer, players use real soccer balls to dribble and shoot on goalkeepers while goalkeepers react in real-time to try and save each shot.
Football players take the quarterback position and throw real footballs to moving receivers at different distances and positions on the field. Players also have the option of kicking and passing in football providing even more interactive opportunity!
